Dr. Lauren Dust

A skilled and compassionate optometrist, Dr. Dust specializes in ocular disease and comprehensive eye care. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Lindenwood University.

With a deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Dust strives to improve her patients’ quality of life through personalized treatment plans, whether managing eye conditions or relieving issues like dry eye. She finds joy in helping patients experience clear vision—especially those seeing the world clearly for the first time.

Originally from central Illinois, Dr. Dust and her fiancé, Steve, are excited to settle near Festus, MO. With family ties to the Ste. Genevieve area, Dr. Dust is especially proud to serve patients in the community close to her roots. She will care for patients at our Swansea, IL and Ste. Genevieve, MO locations. Friendly and welcoming to patients of all ages, Dr. Dust looks forward to serving the community and building lasting relationships as part of the Performance Eyecare family.
